The team was seeded 8th after the good individual results. The first match was in the round of 16, against Israel, seeded nr 9. Israel won that match and as a result Danmark fell back into the 9-16 bracket. The team defeated Sweden and Belarus and got a chance to fight for 9th place against France. France won the match and Denmark thus got a 10th place. The next objective is now the senior european championship in Poland on June 20-25. Again, the national men epee team will count on HFK fencers.
